Northwest R-I School District thinks that drug education is an important part of one's character education. The district has programs in place at various grade levels to address this content. All elementary students participate in the Peace Builders program.  Woodridge and Valley students received education through TREND (Turning Resources and Energy in New Directions). Students at Northwest High School participate in HiSTEP. All of these programs encourage peace and provide drug education. If you, as a parent, are concerned about your child and the use of drugs or have questions regarding the above mentioned programs, please contact your child's school counselor or principal.
