VISITING A COUNSELOR

Students will only be able to see a counselor if they have a pass from their teachers or from the guidance department.  Passes will be delivered at the request of the counselor needing to see students or when students make an appointment in advance.  It is recommended that students make appointments with the guidance secretary before/after school or in between classes.  After students meet with their counselor, a pass will be signed for students to return to class.

The guidance department hopes this will cut down on students missing important classroom instruction time and help keep the traffic in the guidance office to a minimum.  If there is an emergency situation, students should make the guidance secretary aware in order to be assisted immediately by a counselor.  In the case of an emergency where students do not check in with their teacher, the teacher will be contacted by the guidance department.
