Dear Students and Parents,

My name is Janet Kirkpatrick, and I welcome you to Instructional Media Technology at Northwest High school.  I have been a teacher for eighteen years, thirteen of which I spent teaching computers. In May 2010, I earned my Masters Degree in Instructional Technology Leadership. 

As Instructional Media Technology teacher, my mission is to help teachers use technology to improve student performance and to assist students in using technology to enhance the quality of their work. During the school year I will post resources to help teachers and students benefit from the use of technology.  Resources will include PowerPoint presentations, podcasts, videos, and handouts.
