Ihave been a librarian for over eight years now. I truly enjoy my job because I like the feeling of helping children and teachers grow in their knowledge by providing great reading resources for them. In my spare time I enjoy family time with my husband and two sons. I like to read almost anything, visit the beach, and travel to places like theme parks and other tourist attractions. I hope your child will gain a love for reading, a love for books, and a love for seeking knowledge while they are using our wonderful school library each week. |
General Library Information The elementary library program is set up to allow your child to visit the library at least once a week for 50 minutes. During that time your child will have the opportunity of learning how to appreciate literature, how to pick appropriate books based on their reading level, their interests, or both, and how to use what is in the library in order to seek information. The book check out limits are: Kindergarten & 1st Grade = 1 book at a time 2nd Grade through 5th Grade = 2 books at a time Students learn the rules of being a responsible library user and taking good care of books early on in kindergarten. If their book gets lost or damaged it must be paid for before they will be allowed to check out any other materials. |
